More than 90% of our guitars are shipped internationally from Australia, so we know the ins and outs of shipping guitars safely to every corner of the globe.
When you place an order with Richard Wilson Guitars, you can rest assured your guitar will be securely packaged, and will arrive safely in your hands before you know it.

Free Shipping
Free standard shipping is included with all guitars when you purchase direct from our website.
This free service generally takes upwards of 4 weeks to most countries. Delivery is by your country's local postal service such as USPS (USA), Parcelforce (UK), La Poste (FR), Deutsche Post (DE), Japan Post (JP) etc.
Express ShippingÂ
Our recommended service for most orders. Express shipping is available at an additional cost and generally takes under a week to most locations around the world.
Final delivery is by your country's local postal service. Note that customs processing can add additional time to our shipping estimates.

Express Courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS)
For many locations, we offer premium Express Courier services. These services will be presented on the checkout page if available to your location.
We'll choose the shipping carrier best suited to your location, but if you have a preference let us know and we can generally accommodate this.
DHL, FedEx or UPS generally take 3-5 business days for shipping, and often customs processing time is significantly faster than postal services.

Order Processing & Dispatch
We pride ourselves on dispatching orders fast.
All instruments will go through a final setup and inspection process before being packaged for shipping, but we aim to get most orders shipped next business day.
Instruments that require pickup installation or modifications will generally take longer; allow 3-5 business days for most standard pickup installation.
Customs & Duty
Note that all shipping time estimates exclude customs processing, as this is out of our control. Express Courier services often significantly shorten customs processing time, though customs or duty may still be payable.
We recommend you contact your local customs office for the latest information about any customs or duty requirements or costs that may be applicable.
Insurance
Insurance for loss or damage is included with all guitars as standard.
In the very unlikely event that your order is lost or damaged in transit, a repair, replacement and/or refund will be provided at the discretion of Richard Wilson Guitars in conjunction with our shipping and insurance partners. Insurance is limited to the cost of repairing or replacing items damaged or lost in transit.
Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive tracking information via email.

Please note that all shipping times provided on this site are estimates, as furnished by our shipping service providers. These estimates are not guarantees, and actual delivery dates may vary.
Unforeseen delays, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, traffic disruptions, holidays, covid-19, customs and government requirements or logistical issues with our shipping partners, are outside of our control and can affect the actual delivery time. Estimated shipping times do not include time for customs clearances or other government requirements.
