Style 1 Weissenborn Guitar - Tasmanian Blackwood · AA+ Grade Tasmanian Blackwood
What I like about this Tasmanian Blackwood is the balance between subtle figure and natural character. It has dark, smoky colour variation, bold black streaking, and enough movement through the grain to give the guitar a very individual feel.
Rather than looking overly refined or decorative, the timber has a more organic presence — with darker lines, warm colour variation and natural features running across the top and back.
That makes it especially well suited to a Style 1. The simplicity of the build lets the tonewoods remain the focus, and gives the guitar an earthy, understated character.
