Deep, dark Tasmanian Blackwood featuring a beautiful light sapwood highlight down the centre of the back and top is the perfect guitar for the black trim featured on this Style 2: from the black binding, tuning machine knobs and tail graft purfling to the Ebony bridge and bridge pins, as well as the RW insignia.
A new take on the Style 2, this combines a lot of different ideas I've wanted to implement for a while. To me it's the relic nickel tuning machines that really brings this look together, and makes this 'black-on-Blackwood' motif feel quite sophisticated. This is definitely a look I'll try again someday.
