I could swear that this straight-grained Tasmanian Blackwood were Koa, though there's just enough subtle streaks of greys and blues and a shimmering figure to give this tonewood some tell-tale Tasmanian Blackwood character. The beautiful orange/honey coloured tonewoods evokes the honey colour that vintage Weissenborns are renowned for.
