RW2605-492 Overview
Style 1 Weissenborn Guitar - Tasmanian Blackwood · AA Grade Tasmanian Blackwood
No. 492 is a guitar that speaks to the quieter, more traditional side of Tasmanian Blackwood. This particular set of tonewood immediately stood out to me for its colour: a rich honey-gold that felt perfectly suited to a Style 1. There is a simplicity and honesty to it. After the intensity of the past year, building this guitar felt like a return to the essence of what I've always loved about these instruments. Just like its appearance would suggest, No. 492 is lightweight, responsive, and alive in the hands.
